#### IWL participants will be able to access all libraries at Humboldt-Universität but will have no borrowing rights.

#### **The main libraries for the purposes of the IWL are:**

**Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum**

Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 1/3

Opening Hours:

Mon–Fri 09:00–24:00, Sat-Sun 10:00–22:00

This is the university’s main library. Close to the main building and a good spot for finding a workspace. Also has a café. Collections: Humanities, Economics, Social and Cultural Sciences.

**Zweigbibliothek Germanistik/Skandinavistik**

Dorotheenstraße 24  
10117 Berlin

Opening Hours:

During the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 09:30–19:00  
Outside of the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 09:30–18:00

Mid-size library, located near main building. Workspaces available in library and café located in the same building. Collections: German Language and Literature, Scandinavian Studies.

**Zweigbibliothek Fremdsprachliche Philologien**

August-Boeckh-Haus

Opening Hours:

During the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 09:30–19:00  
Outside of the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 10:00–18:00

 A smaller library dedicated to foreign languages and literatures. Also located close to the main building, has some workspaces and a vending machine. Collections: English Literature and Culture, Romance Languages and Literatures, Slavonic Studies.

**Zweigbibliothek Campus Nord**

Hessische Strasse 1-2  
10115 Berlin

Opening Hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–20:00, Sat 11:00–19:00

Mid-size library located at some distance from main campus (20 minutes via public transport). This is where the majority of the university’s English-language collections are held. Has workspaces and vending machines. Collections: English and American Studies, Bio Sciences, Sports Studies, Agrarian Studies.

**Zweigbibliothek Asien-/Afrikawissenschaften und Islamische Theologie**

Invalidenstraße 118  
10115 Berlin

Opening Hours:

During the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00  
Outside of the lecture-period: Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00

Located 15 minutes from main campus on public transport. Collections: Asian Studies, African Studies, Islamic Theology.
