### Humboldt-Universität’s main building is located on Unter den Linden and near Friedrichstraße, an area which has a plethora of shops, cafés and restaurants. A selection of good value and nearby options is provided below: 


### **Canteens**

Good value option with changing selection of hot meals and salads. You need to purchase a MensaCard from the counter and charge it with money in order to be able to buy food here.

[Stabi Kantine Unter den Linden](https://de.everyday.sodexo.com/menu/Staatsbibliothek%20Unter%20den%20Linden/STABI%20KANTINE%20Unter%20den%20Linden) – Located inside the building of the Staatsbibliothek Unter den Linden. Anyone can buy food here, no card or reader’s pass required.

Grimm Café – Located inside the building of the main library (Grimm-Zentrum).

Café Satz – Located on the ground floor of the German Studies Department, Hegelplatz.

Café Felix – Located inside the building of the Staatsbibliothek Unter den Linden.

[Museumsinsel](https://www.smb.museum/en/museums-institutions/museumsinsel-berlin/home/) – An ensemble of public museums including the Bode-Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie and the Neues Museum, housing some of Berlin’s most notable art and historical collections. (Note that the Pergamonmuseum is closed for refurbishment).

[Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama](https://www.smb.museum/en/museums-institutions/pergamonmuseum-das-panorama/plan-your-visit/prices-tickets/) – During the closure of the Pergamonmuseum, this temporary exhibition is certainly worth a visit. A huge 360° panorama created by artist Yadegar Asisi and some historical exhibits provide an impression of the ancient city of Pergamon and its famous altar.
