The 16th session of the IWL is co-hosted by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and jointly funded by the Einstein-Stiftung Berlin and the Oxford-Berlin Research Partnership. It will take place at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from June 29 through July 23, 2026. We have assembled a great team including Mita Banerjee (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz), Elleke Boehmer (University of Oxford), Thomas Claviez (University of Bern), David Damrosch (Harvard University), Stefano Evangelista (University of Oxford), Kader Konuk (TU Dortmund University), B. Venkat Mani (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Ankhi Mukherjee (University of Oxford), Francesca Orsini (SOAS) Galin Tihanov (Queen Mary University of London), Delia Ungureanu (University of Bucharest), and Lawrence Venuti (Temple University). This session's special guest writer is Judith Schalansky.
