IWL participants will be able to access all libraries at Humboldt-Universität but will have no borrowing rights.

Mon–Fri 09:00–24:00, Sat-Sun 10:00–22:00
This is the university’s main library. Close to the main building and a good spot for finding a workspace. Also has a café. Collections: Humanities, Economics, Social and Cultural Sciences.

Mid-size library, located near main building. Workspaces available in library and café located in the same building. Collections: German Language and Literature, Scandinavian Studies.

A smaller library dedicated to foreign languages and literatures. Also located close to the main building, has some workspaces and a vending machine. Collections: English Literature and Culture, Romance Languages and Literatures, Slavonic Studies.

Opening Hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–20:00, Sat 11:00–19:00
Mid-size library located at some distance from main campus (20 minutes via public transport). This is where the majority of the university’s English-language collections are held. Has workspaces and vending machines. Collections: English and American Studies, Bio Sciences, Sports Studies, Agrarian Studies.
