A perfect blend of enjoyment and instruction

My IWL experience has had a significant role in defining who I am as a scholar and researcher. A PhD stude

nt at KU Leuven back in 2013, I was recommended by my adviser Professor Theo D’haen, who was one of the senior staff members of the program. The very professionally organized program was a perfect blend of enjoyment combined with the most rigorous instruction at a high level as it included two intensive seminars in addition to daily panels and sessions. The program expanded the arsenal of my goals and helped me level up my credentials.

More importantly, it helped me develop essential practical qualities like critical and creative thinking, analytical skills, soft skills, publishing skills and work ethic, and all these opened doors of success. Moreover, the program enhanced my leadership skills that triggered my will to build and grow an international research network.

The experiences I went through and the lessons I learned during my stay at Harvard campus were really life changing, and for that I am appreciative and indebted. Being Head of English at Al-Qasemi Academy in Israel for six years now, I am still spooling back through those days and using the experiences and the know-how I gained to build a promising future in the academia.
